| Every book lover’s favorite Third Thursday event, Author! Author! returns on May 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Timrod Library featuring book signings with local authors and light refreshments.
Authors appearing at this Timrod Library event will include children’s writer Jewel Sweeney, local historian George McDaniel, Southern novelists Susan Chellis and Lorna Hollifield, and adventure writer Don Best.
Many downtown businesses also have extended hours for Third Thursday, a monthly event sponsored by Summerville DREAM, so it’s a great night to walk around, enjoy historic Summerville, and stop by the Timrod Library! |
